I’m a little late in getting around to writing this but a couple of weeks ago Boox announced a new 6″ monochrome e-reader (not writing tablet).
The Boox Go 6 is presumably the next generation of their ‘Poke’ e-readers, the primary advantages over the old being a better screen (Carta 1300) and slightly improved user interface. It is also slightly lighter than the Poke 5 and has a G-sensor (for viewing content in landscape mode).
Like the Poke, there’s a microphone but no speakers (although audio can be played via Bluetooth headphones).
It is retailing at $150 USD and is available from the Boox Global Shop (although the Euro Shop appears to have sold out at present, and it is not yet available on Amazon).
Boox have promised me a review unit, although it’s not yet been shipped, and when I receive it (and had a play around with it), I’ll publish my full and honest review.
